PROTECTING KU-RING-GAI'S WILDLIFE AND HABITAT THROUGH COMMUNITY ACTION

    Date:  Sunday 13th August 2017

    Time: 12 Noon to 5:00pm

Where: Masonic Hall, corner of Turramurra Avenue and Pacific Highway, in Turramurra.

There is a Council car park close by the venue in Turramurra Avenue and the venue is only a few minutes walk south along Pacific Highway from Turramurra Railway Station.

In 2015 and 2016, over 100 people attended each WildThings NSW TALKFESTS # 1 and 2 and this year promises to be just as successful with an exciting range of presentations and activities in the fields of wildlife and habitat. Members and supporters of likeminded organisations such as FOKE, STEP, Bushcare Groups, Landcare Groups, the Wilderness Society and others are welcome to attend.

Event details are attached at the top of the page. You can book directly on line at https://www.trybooking.com/301251  or post the booking form to WildThings NSW, PO Box 58,Gordon, NSW 2072. The event is only three weeks away and early booking will assist us with set-up and catering. Free refreshments, displays, activities and door prizes will also be available during the afternoon.

We would like to thank Ku-ring-gai Council and the many volunteers who have generously given their time and effort to put this event together.  Their passion for encouraging, maintaining and improving the unique native wildlife and habitat of Ku-ring-gai will, hopefully, ensure that our unique environment will be there for residents and visitors and their children and grandchildren to enjoy, for a long time to come.

We look forward to hearing from you and of course seeing you at the event.

Best wishes

Chris Smallbone
